Evangelism
Our church is deeply committed to the mission of evangelizing and making disciples of Jesus Christ, as empowered by the Holy Spirit and guided by God’s Word. We believe that sharing the Good News and guiding others to a life of faith is a fundamental calling for all believers, given by Jesus Himself. His Great Commission, as recorded in Matthew 28:19-20, serves as the cornerstone of our evangelistic efforts: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” With Christ’s promise of His presence and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we seek to carry out this divine mission.
We engage in a variety of outreach programs aimed at spreading the gospel within our community and beyond. Through local missions, we reach out to those in need, offering both practical assistance and the message of Christ’s love and salvation. Additionally, our church supports global missions, partnering with missionaries and organizations to bring the message of Jesus to the farthest corners of the world. In Acts 1:8, Jesus tells His followers, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” This scripture guides our approach, reminding us that our mission field begins at home but extends globally, through the power of the Holy Spirit working in us.
Discipleship is another vital aspect of our church’s ministry. We offer various discipleship programs, including Bible studies, small groups, and mentoring relationships, designed to help believers grow in their faith and become more like Christ. Through these programs, we equip individuals with a deep understanding of scripture, encourage them to develop a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, and empower them to live out their faith in everyday life by the strength of the Holy Spirit. As Paul exhorted Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2, “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
In all our efforts, we strive to embody the love and compassion of Christ, demonstrating the transformative power of the gospel through the Holy Spirit. We believe that evangelism and discipleship are not merely activities but a way of life, reflecting our commitment to follow Jesus and make Him known to the world. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we seek to fulfill our mission, trusting in God’s promise that His word will not return empty, but will accomplish what He desires and achieve the purpose for which He sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
